October 2024 Prompt

Ugh. This month is going by too fast for me. I just got home from a vacation. (And I had a blast, but now I’m sick!) I am refreshed and focusing on what I want to actually finish with the time that is left in the year. I am going to make my goals! (At least my writing ones!) if it kills me. (Not actually).

I’m hunkering down and getting ready for NANOWRIMO, and I’m working on (cross your fingers) editing my novel that will then go to my editor. And I have made myself a plan for catching up on my blog posts (cross your fingers for this one too). If you can’t tell, this is going to require some focus, determination, and maybe some luck to pull off.

And on that note, here is this month’s short story prompt:

A Dystopian Glimpse of the Future

I picked this at random, but it didn’t feel that way when I read it. Sometimes our world feels a little too dystopian or on the verge of it for my liking.

No matter what though, happy reading and writing today and every day!

Happy spooky season!
