Movies I Will Never Watch Again…

Have you ever watched a movie and as soon as you’re done, you’re just like, “I’m never watching that again.” It happens right. Not everyone, likes EVERY single movie. I recently watched one that is now on my never watching again list, and I was curious what movies you’ve seen that you never want to see again, like it would take a lot of money or bribing for it to happen.

Here are three for me (explanations included):

  1. Marley and Me
    • So, if you’ve seen this movie, you probably know why I won’t watch this again. It’s sooooooo sad. And it’s about a family who really loves their dog.
    • I would like to add that I was really pregnant when I saw this in theaters and I cried for the last forty five minutes of the movie. The experience has scarred my brain. I don’t think I’ve ever cried that much in public before or since.
  2. The Lobster
    • Okay, so I thought this was too bleak and super boring. I know that every movie isn’t an action movie, but the artsy style of this month made it seem even more bleak than the hopelessness of the tragic love story that is the center of the plot.
    • This just wasn’t for me. I wanted to like it because I thought it was well cast, but it was just super meh for me.
  3. Trap
    • This is the most recent movie on this list. I just watched this last week. I wanted so badly to like this movie. It’s M. Night for crying out loud.
    • However, I found it too predictable and a just a little too hokey. If you haven’t seen it, spoiler alert, this are several moments where the serial killer is evading the police and he manages to get away in truly unbelievable ways. It was just too many of those moments strung together for me. The whole movie is the cops chasing a bad guy. And that’s it. That’s the whole plot.

Anyway, happy reading and writing today and every day. And if you watch a movie, hopefully it’s better than these three.
