So behind this month in like everything…
I am trying to get caught up on things, but it might take me a couple of weeks. My husband had the great idea that he and I would paint our deck by hand, just the two of us. It’s a huge deck. A lot of it had to be painted on a ladder to get around the outside, and we didn’t use a sprayer. We literally painted it with rollers and brushes. I’m so tired.
I told him when it needs painted again in ten years we are hiring someone because holy cow was that a lot of work! My elbow is killing me!
In addition to that, I’ve been working part time on a season job I have. Needless to say, I’m tired and busy. I want to be writing and reading instead, but sometimes life gets in the way. I’ll be okay.
Anyway, in an effort to not get even further behind, here is this month’s prompt:
“The darkness was thick and suffocating, like a heavy blanket had been thrown on the world. He had to get over the wall, had to get across the border before…”
This one was originally used in October 2018. The original story I wrote with this one was “Zak: The Unicorn Hunter.” If you’ve read my first three books, you’ll know Zak is from that world.
Happy reading and writing today and every day!
