So if like me you’ve been participating in NANOWRIMO in November every year, you’ve probably heard that they are out of commission. The website and business side hit some struggles and didn’t recover.
However, for me, Nano was something I looked forward to every year. I didn’t go to the events or participate in the online part. I just used it as a time to declare my next major writing project and focus for that month.
However, with the dissolution of the organization, I’m doing my own version. I’m still going to start writing a new project. I’m still making my goal 50,000 words. And I’m doing it in one month.
The change I’m making — I’m moving it to October. I usually have family visiting around the holidays, so the end of November was always hectic for me. So, I’m renaming October into Wri-tober.
Join me if you want! I’m very excited because this October I’m writing the next book in one of my already published series! (Stay tuned for details).
Happy reading and writing today and every day!
