Last month I started writing a new novel. My goal was to write at least 50,000 in the month of October. (Basically, I just moved my NANOWRIMO month to October).

And, I’m happy to report that I did it! I have a first draft of a new novel. Right now though, I’m not looking at it. I like to take a break after I write the first draft before I start my editing and revising process. With the holidays and every thing else that happens at the end of the year, I probably won’t look at it till next year.

But, if all goes well, I should have a new book some time next year. I’ll know more as I start to work on it.

I’m going to use the few remaining weeks of this year to get caught up on other things, including my short story writing. I’m also super behind on my yearly stitch a long.
