March 2026 Prompt

I’m doing much better this month at keeping up with things. So, to get the call rolling, here is this month’s short story prompt:

“Wormly woke tied to a bed in an unfamiliar room.”

If you are new here, let me tell you how I use these prompts. Once a month, I write a short story. First, I share the prompt, and then hopefully by the end of the month, a short story is ready to be posted.

My current goal is to write at least 1500 words for the story. This year I’m not tying them together in anyway. And this time I’m trying to write in more genres.

Whatever you’re working on, hope it’s going well!

Happy reading and writing today and every day!
