November 2023 Prompt

So… November has been crazy busy for me so far. I am participating in NANOWRIMO, so every day I’ve been writing my next novel. So far, so good.

As of today, I’m at 14,000 words, so that’s pretty good for starting only on the 1st.

Here’s the other things I’ve been working on:

  1. Repainted a tiny bathroom
  2. Patched the side of my house where an evil woodpecker has been attacking it
  3. Filled this weird crack in the floor between my back door and the deck.
  4. Completed a 1000 piece pokeomon puzzle
  5. Finished a 500 piece puzzle in record time (1 hour 7 minutes)
  6. And sorted and organized my closet

Needless to say, I’m kind of tired. I think it’s the weather right now. The days are breezy and in the 70s. I have the doors open to let the air flow through the house, and it’s like autumnal magic. It makes me want to get things off my to do list! I love it!

I’m also working away at some of my writing projects, mostly NANOWRIMO, but I haven’t forgotten about the others. If you are writing a short story this month, here’s the prompt I’m using this month:

“Galileo was put on trial and spent the last years of his life in prison for suggesting that the earth revolved around the sun. We think we have a pretty good idea of how the universe works now, but what if we don’t? What if we’re wrong? What if…”

Complete the Story

I can’t wait to write about this one. Whatever you’re working on right now, I hope you’re making progress! Happy reading and writing today and every day!
