I realize January is slipping away, but I’ve finally decided what writing challenge I’m going to do this year. Like most years, I’m going to write 12 short stories, one a month (in theory), and share them here, on my blog.
Here are my new guidelines for this year’s challenge:
- All of the prompts will be ones that I’ve used before. Basically, I’m pulling from my old posts and seeing what kind of story I can create from a prompt that I’ve already used. The prompts I’ve used in the past are usually very open ended, so this should be interesting.
- Each story should be at least 1500 words.
- Each story should be posted the month of the challenge (if you follow me, you know I usually get behind, but that’s life, right?)
- Have fun!
For this month, the prompt is:
“Invention. Arthurian. Priest.”
That’s it. Three words to inspire! This prompt was originally from February 2015.
Read all about it here: February’s Prompt, and read the original story created from this prompt here: Sir Gawain and the Priest.
Happy reading and writing today and every day!
