As of 11:55 pm last night, I met my NANOWRIMO goal of writing a new novel’s first draft of 50,000 words. I started on Nov. 1. It’s a lot of writing in less than a month. And it leaves my brain feeling overworked, but it’s also a very rewarding process.
This year I started writing a new book that is a sequel to the book I finished last year. I’m very excited about it. The working title is Ogres of the Lake.
I don’t want to give away anything other than saying read the first book because the next book will be out in the Fall of 2024!
I usually take a break before I begin editing, so here’s to a holiday break!
