Still Working on My Novel

How is everyone’s summer going? I am loving mine so far.

I talked my husband into putting up a smallish above ground pool for me. If you saw my yard you would understand why this is a huge deal. This isn’t a flat spot in my yard. He made me a 15 x 15 foot flat spot for my pool. It was a MASSIVE project. And now, my pool is up and ready to use! And of course the weather has NOT been the best pool weather, but when it finally is, I’ll be ready.

That project took up a bit more time that I was predicting, but now that’s it’s done, I’m trying to work through my to-do list for the month. Including, of course, my short story.
