Books about Books

If you’re like me, you might like all things related to books. And like me, you’ve been like this since you were little. I get it. I love to read. I love adding books to my shelves. I love going to bookstores and libraries. And, I love writing my own books.

If you’re like me, you feel the same. In fact, one of my favorite genre of stories are stories about books and writing and libraries and bookstores. What I mean, is I love stories about stories. That might seem strange to someone who doesn’t feel the same as I do, and I can’t explain it.

I absolutely love books about books and book related topics like libraries, bookstores, writers, etc.

Obviously I haven’t read every book ever written, but when I come across books that are about books, I can’t wait to read them.

Here are a few I’ve read that I highly recommend (in no particular order):

1. The Invisible Library

2. The Book Eaters

3. The Eyre Affair

4. Inkheart

5. The Book Jumper

6. Library of the Unwritten

7. The Library at Mt. Char

8. City of Dreaming Books

9. The Haunted Bookstore

10. Word by Word

11. Midnight at the Bright Ideas Bookstore

12. Nightbooks

13. Storied Life of A.J. Fikry

Like I said, this list is not complete, nor in any particular order, but I’ve enjoyed all of these. If you’re looking for a great book about stories, try one of them! Also, if you think of any I haven’t included, please let me know. I’m always looking to add to my TBR shelf.

Happy reading and writing today and every day!
